Pablo Suarez (SUU’s Admissions and Recruitment Counselor) will present SUU’s Freshman Admissions Criteria and Scholarship Process. This year, SUU is offering significant merit scholarships ($$$)! The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room E-G. During the one-hour session, the first half will feature the admissions presentation and Q&A, and the second half will be an application workshop where Pablo will help students submit SUU’s online admissions application. We look forward to seeing you on the 5th. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend. Please have them sign in at the high school entrance and obtain a pass.

Our On-Campus Housing is now open!
Students can officially submit their on-campus housing application. We encourage students to apply early, as housing can begin filling quickly after the new year. Applying now gives them the best opportunity to secure a spot and their preferred housing option and the application fee is only $50.

T-Bird Promise Scholarship Applications
Students can apply for up to $2,000 per year through the T-Bird Promise Scholarship Fund, which can be awarded on top of their academic scholarship. This is another resource we are always encouraging our out-of-state students to take advantage of as we work to make SUU as affordable as possible. As long as their application is in before Dec. 1st, they will receive this scholarship!

Scholarships
- Students with a minimum of a 2.5 (Unweighted) GPA will automatically qualify for our WUE scholarship of $6,000.00 a semester. See index for alternative eligibility.
- In addition, they will receive a merit bonus of $1,000.00 a semester if they have a 3.50 – 4.00 (Unweighted) GPA. See index for alternative eligibility.
- Our T-Bird Promise Scholarship is also available for all students to apply and receive up to $1,000.00 a semester as well.

Note: students under the qualifying GPA threshold can fill out a scholarship appeal form to receive the WUE scholarship and can still be provisionally accepted. Please have them contact me!
SUU’s Open House: Save the Date!
I also wanted to provide a quick update regarding our Annual Open House here in Las Vegas. We are moving from our usual location to the Marriott located at 325 Convention Center Drive. It is central to most schools in CCSD so we hope that your students and their families can make it and meet our deans and their respective departments! My favorite part about our Open-House is that we get to award students their academic scholarships and send them home with their letters the same night.
