Report on Elementary Intervention Services and Intensive Instruction

As of October 15, 2023, 36% of Odyssey’s 3rd-grade students need intervention services in Reading. Sixteen (16) out of twenty-five (25) of these students received intervention services at Odyssey Charter School in the 2nd Grade. Nine out of sixteen (9/16), or 56%, met their growth goal from the Fall of 2022 to the Fall of 2023 as measured by the MAPs Assessment. Seven out of sixteen (7/16), or 44%, did not meet their growth goal from the Fall of 2022 to the Fall of 2023 as measured by the MAPs Assessment.

The following table depicts the number and percent of students that needed intervention and the number and percent of students that met their growth goal, by grade level, as measured by the MAPs Assessment in the Fall of 2022 to the Spring of 2023. Kindergarten students were not given the MAPs Assessment in the Fall of 2022.
