Cap and Gown Photos
Due to Covid-19 Protocols, we will not have students take pictures on campus with caps and gowns. Students will be required to submit a “selfie” for the final graduation presentation. All students’ photos must meet the outlined criteria and be submitted, no later than March 19, 2021. Information regarding how to submit photos will be released shortly.
Senior Due Dates
Before you can walk, you have to work… on your assignments, that is! Graduating seniors and early grad juniors must complete and submit all assignments prior to Senior Saturday and the graduation ceremony in order to be cleared by their counselor. If you have any questions about what is expected of you in a particular class, please talk to your teacher.
Join your fellow classmates, counselors, teachers, staff, and administrators for an early graduation celebration on Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 10 am to 2 pm. This will be a drive-through pick-up event. You will be allowed to pick up your cap and gown, announcements, commemorative tickets, and diploma covers. Graduation clearance from your counselor gains you access to this fun event. See the “Senior Due Dates” section of this flyer for details on graduation clearance.
Cap and Gown Units
Cap and gown units have been ordered. Students that have not submitted this information have been emailed. Please submit this information as soon as possible.
Each year several students are chosen to speak at graduation. This is the highlight of our graduation ceremony each year. This year’s class motto is “There are millions of possibilities for the future, but it’s up to you to choose which becomes reality.” ~Garnet, Steven Universe. Your speech should talk about how Odyssey positively impacted your high school experience. You must write and record your speech. Your submission should not exceed 3 minutes. The administrative team will review all submissions and select 4 students. All graduating seniors and early grads are encouraged to submit a speech. Submissions can be sent to Mr. Stafford at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is April 16th.
Graduation will be on May 26th, at the Orleans Arena. More details will be available soon!
