Academic Questions & Senior Due Dates

Graduation Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2027
If you want to walk in the ceremony, you must pick up your graduation materials on Friday, May 14, 2027 **Check back after Winter Break for more detailed information regarding graduation!
Senior Meeting: Tuesday, October 6, 2027
All seniors, early-grad juniors and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the annual Senior Meeting. This event provides students and parents with vital information to prepare for Graduation. More details about the Senior Meeting will be published in September.
Cap, Gown, and Senior T-shirt Ordering
Your FREE cap & gown unit will be ordered by Odyssey. Please complete the Cap, Gown and Senior T-Shirt assignments in the “Graduation-2027” Moodle course to submit your sizing information no later than December 18th. Students will keep their caps and gowns after Graduation.
**If you do not see the “Graduation-2027” course under My Courses in Moodle (the course may not appear under your Dashboard) by the end of August, please contact [email protected] to be enrolled.
Jostens Ordering Deadline: Friday, December 18, 2026
All orders for announcements, class rings, and 2027 grad extras (t-shirts, hoodies, tassels, etc.) must be ordered from Jostens.com. Announcements and extra tassels will ship to the school, while items like clothing and keychains will ship directly to your home.
After December 18th, you can still visit Jostens.com to have any of their non-Odyssey-specific items shipped directly to you.
Senior Photos: Friday, December 4, 2026 & Saturday, December 5, 2026
These are the ONLY photos used in the yearbook and Graduation Senior Slideshow.
All seniors and early-grad juniors may have FREE professional cap and gown photos taken by Bell Photography. Appointments will be scheduled using the “Graduation-2027” Moodle course, you will be notified when scheduling becomes available.
DRESS CODE: Caps, gowns, and tassels will be provided. Some clothing may be visible beneath the gown, so collared shirts or other neat, school-appropriate attire are a must. Odyssey’s dress code will be fully enforced, pajamas, sleepwear, robes, and clothing with graphics or inappropriate language are not permitted.
Students and families may purchase photos through Bell Photography. Purchasing information will be distributed when it is made available to us, typically shortly before picture day.
Graduation Speech Submission Deadline: Friday, January 15, 2027 at 2:00 PM. Each year, the highlight of our graduation ceremony is our student speakers! Any graduating student may submit a speech. If you are interested in giving a speech on stage this year, please submit your speech to Principal Stafford ([email protected]).
– Submit in both writing and a video recording
– Speeches may not be longer than 2.5 minutes
**Please make sure you are reading at a slow, steady pace – the same way you would at Graduation.
If your speech is selected, you will then be mentored through the process of refining your speech and preparing to speak in front of a live audience on the day of graduation.
