Reminder: U.S. EPA Environmental Challenge – Students can win up to $5,000!
Please remind your students and networks of “Pollution Prevention Works: A Storytelling Challenge for Students.” This U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Challenge is an opportunity for students to win up to $5,000 by telling pollution prevention (P2) stories. If you have already shared the Challenge with your networks, we thank you and encourage you to remind your students again!
Challenge Video
Students can submit videos, written stories, infographics, or StoryMaps that illustrate how businesses in EPA’s Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) P2 Search Tool are reducing toxic chemical releases through innovative pollution prevention practices and having a positive impact on the environment and communities. The Challenge is open to high school and college students. Entries are due February 17, 2023.
