ABOU T ANGELS WINGS FOUNDATION
Angels Wings Foundation was founded in 2002 as a non-profit organization aimed at assisting the
underprivileged children of Thailand. Shaped from under the wings of native Thai philanthropist, Porntip Bui
Simon, Angels Wings has built schools, provided educational scholarships, healthcare, and many other critical
services for youth in Thailand. “It has been my passion to find ways of empowering our disadvantaged youth and
raising their potential. After being crowned Miss Universe in 1988, I served as the Good Will Ambassador to
The United Nations during the Year of the Child and have been a spokesperson for UNICEF and UNFPA. In
doing so, I was able to showcase the problems that arise when children grow up without homes, schools and the
necessary education they need to become the future leaders and role models of tomorrow.” Porntip Bui Simon.
