UNLV Englelstad Scholars Program

About the Engelstad Program:

The Engelstad Scholars Program was established by the Engelstad Family Foundation through an endowment of $12.625 million to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in November of 2008.

Students placed with our nonprofit partners complete 100 hours of service each year.  The scholarship awards $5,000.00 per year to four (4) consecutive years to students.

Scholar Eligibility

Entering first time freshman

3.25 cumulative high school gpa or higher

Must complete the Engelstad Scholars Application

Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Scholar Requirements:

Complete 100 hours of community service per year

Must enroll and complete at least 212 credit hours or more every semester at UNLV

Maintain 3.0 cumulative gpa

Complete the new scholars hours during the first fall semester and attend Engelstad Scholar Events
