Amount: Several $4,000 ($1,000 per year for four years)
Eligibility: High school senior, taken the ACT test by December 31, 2013. Has to be a child or grandchild of an active Elk member. Eligibility: High School seniors in Clark or Nye County in Nevada who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. Be eligible to attend an accredited two or four year college, university or vocation/technical school following graduation. A Better Slice for Education Papa John’s Pizza Scholarship
Sponsor: Papa John’s Pizza
Amount: 5 – $1,000
Eligibility: CCSD high school seniors with a minimum 3.5 gpa and who are involved in community service with 50 or more hours may apply for this scholarship. Write a 250 word essay on, “Why education is important to you?” Please request two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, club advisor, coach or employer.
