Elementary School Parent Information

Odyssey staff members, students and parents are all part of the team needed to help make your student successful in school. On this page you will find resources to help you navigate the programs your student uses in school, check student progress, and tools for student success. New and updated information will be posted to this page as it becomes available.

Supply List

Here is the list of supplies that you will need to do your coursework at Odyssey this school year.

Moodle

Moodle is an online learning environment that Odyssey uses to facilitate the online at-home portion of the curriculum. Each student’s account is individualized with the courses he/she is taking each semester. Students access their homework assignments, check their grades, and communicate with their teachers through this platform.

To log in to Moodle, click on the link above and enter your username and password. For questions about usernames and passwords, please contact the Catherine Friedman at 702-257-0578 ext. 6521.

To check your student’s gradebook in Moodle:

  1. Log in to Moodle (click on the link above, then enter your username and password).
  2. Click “My Courses” on the blue bar at the top of the page.
  3. Click on any class listed in the middle of the page.
  4. Scroll down to see each week’s assignments for the selected class.
  5. Under “Administration” click on “Grades” in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. This brings up the grade book for that class to see current and past due assignment grades.
  6. Click on “Overview Report” at the top of the page, below “View” to see the semester grade for all classes.
  7. Click on any class listed to go into that class’s specific grade book.
