Eligibility: Graduating Senior who will receive a diploma from an accredited high school, located within the state of where they apply. Home schooled students and students attending military or boarding schools are also eligible. Applicants must be accepted for admission to an accredited college or university, matriculating the following year. Each eligible student must have a father, mother or legal guardian who is a full time active duty employee. Parent or guardian must be a full time public safety officer (police/fire) who is a member of a law enforcement agency or a full time paid or volunteer member of a fire department located in Clark County, Nevada. Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded to students graduating from public or private high schools in California, Nevada, and Klamath Falls, Oregon. Applicants must be wholly or partly of Italian ancestry. For the Italian Language Study Grant, applicants must also have completed a foreign language course in high school. Selection will be based on scholastic record, activities evidencing leadership, financial need, written personal goals statement, Essay of Italian Origin, and letters of recommendation.
